01/21 - OCoDA New Mascot Competition

Sat Jan 21, 2006, 1:24 PM
01/21 - Upcoming News

Well, it's been a while since anything has really gone on in our quaint little club, so let's liven things up, shall we? For the next OCoDA Mascot competition, we will be holding off for an extra month for entries. Why? Just a lot going on really, what with college and all for me and ~theguycalledwingus having his agendas too :) It'll also give some extra time for entries, so everyone please try and submit something for the competition :)

Also, just to share the wealth, will not be able to win this time's mascot competition, but will be free to enter in the next :)

Good luck everyone! Deadline for entries will be February 20th, 2006 Start submitting today! :)

"Warriors of fate, you shall dance bravely,
Use your golden wings, and fly to the skies!
Heroes of steel, they do not have the word "retreat" in their minds.
Continue to command with your raging, burning souls!
To eternity! To eternity!"
Thought so =P Maybe I should make a tutorial somewhere online, ne? Alot of people could benefit from it. If they followed the rules -jab-

I think the Ninja Bunnies are on to my plan...
I try. XD Sometimes I wanna mess around and experiment.

Inking, though lots of people use the same technique :P I'm just lazy and only use my microns on school projects now, whereas he uses them on nearly everything which makes his linework look quite professional in most cases now :)

:b0x0rz: Ask not for whom the undies dance. :meditate: They dance... for thee :b0x0rz:
I'm just saying if you run a micron pen size whatever line, and then run a zig or staedler line next to it, the zig and staedler may not be quite as dark, microns do have good ink, but they wont have those horrible fuzzy hairs that microns leave on the edges of the line.

I think the Ninja Bunnies are on to my plan...
I've never had problems with microns bleeding, but it might also depend on the quality of paper.

Personally, I use gel pens of one size, because their cheap, and still can be edited digitally if needed :)
